Grade Policy:
There will be 2 or 3 in class exams plus a cumulative final. Each exam is worth 100 points and the final is worth 200 points. The lowest 100 points will be dropped. There may be additional assignments that will be factored into the grade. No homework, program or project will be accepted once it has been graded. Assignments submitted after the due date but prior to the assignment being graded may be subject to a late penalty.

Sample Grade Calculation: Exam 1: 85/100, Exam 2: 80/100, Exam 3: 90/100, final 140/200.
Since the final (70/100) is the lowest grade, the grades used are 85+80+90+70 = 325/400
Final Grade: 325/400 = 81 = B

Make-Up Exams:
There are no make up exams. Make up exams may be granted in the case of extreme and documented situations. Make up exams may differ in style and content from the exam given in class and may occur at a later time in the semester. Under certain circumstances, doubling of another exam may replace the missing exam.
